Large Scale Print Design
Bila Shaka Brewery, Nairobi, Kenya
Overview
This was an artwork done for a Kenyan Beer company called Bateleur Brewery. The objective for this project was to create an artwork that gives the brand a young, fresh, and millennial feel while still using brand colors. The artwork was to be printed on 7ft tall promotional fridges. Pictured below are the artworks to go on either side of the fridge
Inspiration & Sketches
The initial sketches for my "Large Scale Design for Print" project were inspired by contemporary design principles and the vibrant energy of the subject matter. I aimed to capture the brand's identity through bold shapes and dynamic compositions, drawing from modern art and graphic design trends. These sketches laid the groundwork for exploring color palettes and typography, guiding the development of a cohesive and impactful design that aligns with the brand's vision.
Product Photos
I redesigned the branding to give the fridges a fresh, millennial-focused look. The new design features bold typography, vibrant colors, and modern graphics that reflect the youthful, energetic spirit of the brand. By applying these elements across the fridge surfaces, I ensured a cohesive and striking visual identity that resonates with a younger audience while maintaining the brand’s authenticity. The result is an eye-catching and playful look that enhances brand recognition and appeal in retail spaces.
